Right after its tour in Thessaloniki, he Nutcracker will be returning to Olympia Theatre for its annual Christmas shows. In GNO s highly successful production, the choreography focuses on Claras dream, a dramatic coming-of-age story through love and fear. This Renato Zanellas particular choreography was first presented in 2000 at the Vienna State Opera. The impressive sets and costumes are designed by acclaimed scenographer Christof Cremer, who has collaborated in the past with notable operas and festivals around the world such as the Vienna State Opera, the Dresden State Opera, the Bregenz Festival, the German Opera on the Rhine, the Wiesbaden State Theatre and Opera House, et al.
