PRESENTATION

With a grand opera gala concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus featuring soloists of international acclaim, the Greek National Opera commemorates the legendary soprano Maria Callas on Sunday, 21 September.
Famous arias of the operatic repertoire by Bellini, Bizet, Cherubini, Cilea, Gounod, Leoncavallo, Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, J. Strauss and Verdi will be interpreted by the internationally renowned vocalists (listed in alphabetical order): Aris Argiris, Daniela Dessì, Dimitra Theodossiou, Nicola Ulivieri,  Andrés Veramendi and Elena Xanthoudakis. 
Proceeds from ticket sales will toward to the "Association for the Building of the Opera and the Lyric Arts Academy «Maria Callas»".
