ÆGN is an acoustic jazz quartet named after the Aegean Sea.

The sea, the salty water that falls from the drums of Panagiotis Kostopoulos evaporates, when it meets the bronze glow of the bright Andreas Polyzogopoulos. This sea is reminiscent of Bill Laswell's Panthalassa, a tribute to the work of Miles Davis. The lighthouses are the same, but the scenery is different. Together with Bojon Zulfikarpasic's piano, ÆGN maps every detail of the Greek archipelago with the precision of a cartographer.

ÆGN wants to embrace us all. We are at the side of Marc Buronfosse looking at the last mirages of the sea, but even if we were elsewhere in any hearty part of the world it would still resonate within us...

But let's stay in Paros. The weather is so sweet!
