P.S. Coexistence. Juxtaposition. Collision. These are the points of symbiosis where the nine characters negotiate their truths. Navigating this space in tandem as misfits. Their cohabitation in this locus gives birth to their shared pulse. They bear witness to their illusion of possessing liberty. In their common home each one constantly constructs a unique narrative on how to perceive the self and its surroundings. How do they live together?

Dear absence, farewell is the finding of phase one, stemming out of the experiment this is a space. In a process of abstraction, the performers search within to construct the form that they will eventually defend. Each driven by their own motives and intentions. Like a sculptor who carves out the form, appearing as a figure, from a block of marble. The piece is them. Before, now and after. They are companions in the same condition: in the struggle of being. Through the cracks of their fragmented house emerges their way of life. The stage becomes an open window to their realities. Until they will have to bring justice, where everything is a celebration.

this is a space experiment:
The continuous experiment this is a space takes place in the dance theater workshop of this group of performers. In parallel with their repertoire work, their vision is to rework, expand and research one piece which is elaborated gradually and through different perspectives. The leading tendency of the experiment is the feature of continuity by approaching the initial findings as raw materials and as an inexhaustible source of creation. Thus, the piece will always remain under construction of which the stages will unfold in phases. In each phase, the ongoing creative process expresses its findings. The choice of medium and site for this expression is made in an open dialogue with the creative needs of the research.
In this way the outcome serves the process. The languages of expression born and elaborated in the workshop constitute the core of the research.
