On the occasion of celebrating 50 years since the founding of the organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF), we are discussing photography and the use of this medium by the organization.
Athens Photo World always focuses its actions on highlighting the importance of photography in modern-day social, historical and political developments. Hence, it is marking the 50-year anniversary of MSF by engaging in a discussion with the organization about the role of photography in publicizing and promoting their multi-faceted work around the world.
The discussion between photographers Yannis Kolesidis, Anna Pantelia and Marilena Stafylidou, on the one hand, and representatives of the Greek chapter of MSF, on the other hand, will be moderated by journalist and iMEdD Project Manager Nikolas Aronis.
The event will take place in Greek, with simultaneous translation into English.
Physically present English-speaking participants will be able to use translation receivers that will be distributed free of charge on-site.

The discussion will be held indoors (for a fully vaccinated audience). You may watch the event live on this page, as well as on SNFCC's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
