Like every year at Christmas time, the Christmas Stories of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) come to life at the Lighthouse.
Award-winning writer Vangelis Hatzigiannidis has written a brand-new play for our Christmas Stories at the SNFCC Lighthouse - a funny (and a tiny bit scary), as he puts it, play for children and the entire family - and Sofia Vgenopoulou, a beloved director of theatre for children and teens, has directed it.
Shortly before Christmas, the famous writer Ourania Celeste arrives from Paris and is offered hospitality at the house of her favorite nephew. She and her enormous suitcase get settled in. The family's life is upended. In a matter of just a few days, so much will change. And the big question remains: What is the content of that mysterious suitcase?
Starring Elena Topalidou as Ourania Celeste.
