OUTERNATIONAL - «Isles & Rivers»

"Outernational" is an international art project that explores how different musical traditions
from around the world find their place today. The new project of the series entitled "Isles & Rivers" will premiere at the Chios Music Festival and continue its journey to Berlin and the Philharmonie Luxembourg. The concert will present a new composition by Yannis Kyriakides, where baroque and music from Persia flow harmoniously, in an orchestration that will include instruments from the Greek lyra to theorbo, improvisations and live electronics. The concept of the concert is inspired by the philosopher Metrodorus of Chios: "None of us knows anything, not even whether we know or do not know, nor do we know whether not knowing and knowing exist, nor in general whether there is anything or not".
