The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is welcoming the intercultural symphonic orchestra and choir of El Sistema Greece at Stavros Niarchos Hall, inviting you to an exciting Christmas journey around the world.
More than 80 children and young adults, aged 8-26, representing more than 30 nationalities, join forces for this great festive concert. Young artists will present iconic festive music from five continents and celebrate their cultural roots performing pieces from their countries of origin. The concert will be conducted by music director Kyriaki Kountouri.
A celebration of creativity, aiming to inspire the audience and convey the message of partnership and unity through the power of music.
The specially prepared musical arrangements, created in collaboration with the Department of Music of the Ionian University and composer Dimitra Trypani, bring to life the magic of Christmas and related traditions from different parts of the world.
The educational music project for social integration El Sistema Greece offers free music education to children and young people, aiming to build a community, revolving around music, with no restrictions or discriminations. El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra is an intercultural educational orchestra, open to young musicians aged 8-26 who know how to play an orchestral instrument. El Sistema Greece Youth Choir is a dynamically evolving intercultural vocal ensemble, constantly enriched by the choir students of El Sistema Greece as well as choristers with vocal studies. El Sistema Greece's musical ensembles offer a special process of group music learning, based on the principles and pioneering teaching practices of El Sistema Venezuela.

Concession tickets of 5€ are available to students, people aged 65+, minors up to 17 years old, the unemployed, companions of Persons with Disabilities, multi-child families and residents of the Municipality of Kallithea.
Children and companions of persons with disabilities can sit with their chaperones and companions in any zone, with a concessions ticket.
On the day of the event, concession ticket holders will be asked to show their ID, as well as supporting documentation (student card, unemployment card, family status certificate for multi-child parents, utility bill for residents of Kallithea)
