On November 13th and 14th, the first edition of a new International Music Festival will take place at the historic Apollo Theater of Syros. A festival which is conceived and directed by violinists Asi Matathias and Tosca Opdam and will propose two evenings of great music with some of the most acclaimed international artists.
It will be a crossroads of the world right here in the beautiful Island of Syros with five international musicians from New-York, Brussels, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv.
The performers perform regularly on some of the worlds most prestigious stages such as New York's Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie and The Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
Leading up to the concerts, Music directors Tosca Opdam and Asi Matathias will travel around the Island of Syros on a mission to meet as many 'Syrosians' as possible: "Meet the violins!"
We are looking forward to having you with us on these special nights where world class music will be heard at the grand Apollo theater.
