Musica Poetica. "Musica" (music) as a language of sounds, resounding all things which
cannot be said with words. "Poetica" (from the Greek verb "ποιώ", create), as a creative
force generating and delivering hope and a vision of this world.

Musica poetica transcending time and space, communicating its message in a thousand
tongues or in no tongue at all, moving us, and in this soul-awakening, inner motion,
binding us and connecting us to all natural things.

Mesmerized by the natural beauty of the Meleagris Farm, mezzo soprano Kiriaki Trochani, violist Iris Louka and pianist Magda Nikolaidou will have the pleasure of presenting a chamber music recital dedicated to the poetic narrativity of music, performing works by well-known composers such as S. Barber, F. Bridge, G. Konstandinidis and Α. Vitali, as well as works written especially for the occasion by G. Dousis, G. Ghikas and J. Papadatos..

We welcome you to this breathtaking natural environment to join us in a song that doesn't always need words, as part of a dialogue in search of the poetry of things with the hope of preserving it in the outside, as well as in our inner worlds.

The concert will be introduced by Renata Dalianoudi, Musicologist,
PhD in Ethnomusicology, Associate Professor at the Department of Arts
and Image at the Ionian University.

Meleagris Farm will be open an hour before the beginning of the concert,
in order to welcome those who wish to visit the premises earlier.
After the concert, MELEAGRIS CLASSIC production company will be offering
exquisite viands and wine made by the local winery EVINOS.
