The Microcosmos concert cycle, which explores the unlimited potential of sound, featuring visiting artists that make the avant-garde accessible, ends in March, with the subversive Peter Broderick.
Broderick is the definition of a multi-instrumentalist: in addition to piano, he plays violin, mandolin-banjo, even musical saw, and has participated as a session musician in various different projects.
Born in 1987 in the United States, he grew up in Oregon, in an environment of intense music education, and now lives between London and Dublin.
As a solo artist, he balances between folk chamber compositions and classical music releases. He has also performed as a guest member of the exquisite Efterklang from Denmark, while his track record of collaborations features big names such as Nils Frahm, M. Ward, Laura Gibson - and even the band that supported Zooey Deschanel in her musical venture.
He has performed in a host of festivals, including the Roskilde Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Misty Fest, CTM Festival, Green Man, Supersonic Festival, and OFF Festival.
We are looking forward to welcoming him in Athens, for an atmospheric and singularly exciting performance.
