Your grandma. A second mother, more or less. Who looked the other way when you broke the rules. Who was always there when your parents weren't. Who told countless stories, but rarely, if ever, about herself. How well did we really know her? Is it possible to imagine her outside that grandmotherly role? What was she like when she was young? Did she have the same dreams as us? The same insecurities when she fell in love? Did she joke around with her friends? What kind of life did she live, in the end? And what about her declining years? How did she have room inside for all that loneliness?

Dimitris Charalampopoulos invites us on a journey into childhood, exploring the passage of time and inevitable old age. This is a production dedicated to the unique bond between grandmothers and grandchildren, tapping into memories of the past and at the same time illuminating the unseen traces of that beloved person's existence before she even became a mother or grandmother. An original work for the stage that delves into love, separation, what we lose as we grow up, what there was never time to say, and how those who are most important to us will live inside us forever.
