The National Opera Ballet is coming to Paros Park to present a contemporary dance diptych entitled Return of the summer, choreographed by Yiannis Mantafounis and Konstantinos Rigos. The work Point of No Return by Yiannis Mantafounis to the music of Giorgos Koumendakis converses with the work Les Nuits d'été by the director of the ELS Ballet, Konstantinos Rigos, to the music of Hector Berlioz, composing an impressive program of contemporary dance. The choreographies alternate between classical and contemporary styles, giving the ELLS Ballet dancers the opportunity to experiment with new forms and on a smaller scale. The music in both works is pre-recorded.
