Directed by Meghan Finn
Songs by Caitlin Saylor Stephens and Sarah Frances
The Tank Theater, one of the most influential off-off Broadway theaters, is coming to Greece for the first time, to present the critically acclaimed by The New York Times performance "When we went electronic", directed by the theatre's artistic director Meghan Finn, on November 6th and 7th at Roes Theatre.
When we went electronic / the plot.
Schools Out. Its 2011. Two Made in USA. American Apparel® models search for their missing memory after a tragically fun night. But when really weird stuff starts happening, the girls begin to question the syntheticness of their own materials and if what they think happened was really real. Maybe last night wasn't such a party after all. Literally.

RECOMMENDATIONS
" This play is a whirlwind of thought and emotion. Is it corny to call it "electric?" I was energized and excited through my entire first reading. A definite must. "
Caridad Svich:18 Nov. 2018
" a world of pain and anomie, rebellion and almost friendship, a story of women torn from themselves, at the root, and trying to somehow re-member who they are. written with verve and go-for-broke-ness in every way. "
Jonathan O'Neill:18 Nov. 2018
" WHEN WE WENT ELECTRONIC is haunting and heartbreaking. Using powerful imagery to repeatedly deconstruct and reconstruct her characters, Stephens implores us to listen to, recognize, and talk about the real pain behind what's synthetic. "
Emma Goldman-Sherman:2 Nov. 2018
" Saw this at The Tank and really enjoyed the madness of it, the language, the strangeness, the music, the lighting, the electronic world of the play, the set and how they used it destroying so much of it, and I particularly loved the American Apparel display case and how they inhabited it and the photography because so much of this is about women as objects on display and how we objectify ourselves - truth, and the reality that we might not want that much of it, literally.
