Alkistis Protopsalti, once again embraces "Together for Children" Association NGO performing at a unique charity concert held at her favorite place, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, on Wednesday, September 14th.

The great performer will remind us of Melina Merkouri's songs that are known from her appearances at the cinema, the theater but also from her exile in Paris.

The concert is a musical tribute to Melina, the dynamic, internationally renowned woman who left her impact on the modern history of Greece for her strength and love for her country.

A magical evening with Alkisti Protopsalti performing  popular songs with the music of Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hatzidakis, Stavros Xarhakos, Yiannis Markopoulos and lyrics by Nikos Gatsos, Yiannis Ritsou, Michalis Kakogiannis, Vangelis Goufas, Eftychia Papagiannopoulou and others.

The charity concert is organized for the benefit of "Mazi gia to Paidi" -"Together for Children" Association NGO.

All concert proceeds will support "Together for Children" members.

The concert is under the auspices of the Melina Merkouri Foundation.

Founded in 1996, in Greece, “Together for Children” (TFC) is a non-profit/non-governmental Association comprised of nine member organizations that work in the field of child welfare.
The Association provides assistance to thousands of children in need on an annual basis  in Greece– irrespective of race, religion and political conviction – facing poverty, social exclusion, domestic violence, chronic diseases, mental or physical disabilities or the sickness or death of an immediate family member.
