The MELISSES support the children of the "Together for Children" Association with a unique concert at the Herod Atticus Odeon, dedicated to the "friends who write history," on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 21:00.

Through their own musical and orchestral "perspective," MELISSES (Christos Mastoras, Kostas Mavrogenis, and Thanos Laitsas) will perform some of the most timeless and beloved songs of Greek bands. They will remind us of legendary songs that have stayed in our hearts, symbolizing the power of the team and the concept of "Together" in the art of Music.

MELISSES will create a program with all the landmark songs of music bands, from Forminx to Fatme and from Haris and Panos Katsimichas to "Ypoia Revmata" and "Xylina Spathia," while also performing major hits from their own discography.

Of course, the music ensemble will be joined by distinguished guests, three of the greatest frontmen of iconic bands in the country who have made their mark. Paschalis, who, with the Olympians in the mid-1960s, introduced European rhythms to the domestic musical standards, laying the groundwork for Greek pop music, Babis Stokas, who, with Pyx Lax, for the last 30 years has been the most successful and influential rock band in our country, and Kostas Tournas, who, with the pioneering Poll, shook the waters of Greek music and established his unique style as both a singer and a composer.

Also joining the group is Paulina Voulgaraki, a singer with a distinctive style and ethos.

MELISSES remember and honor the music bands of Greece and dedicate this unique concert to the "friends who write history."

All proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting the member organizations of the "Together for Children" Association.

"Together for Children" and its member organizations have been working since 1996 to protect thousands of children in our country. It offers a wide range of services with the aim that every child in every corner of Greece has access to sustainable living conditions and equal opportunities.

The work of "Together for Children" focuses on combating poverty, health and mental health, education, supporting the member organizations that make up the "Together for Children" Union, and providing assistance to populations affected by natural disasters.

It is a Non-Profit Civil Company (NPO), relying on resources from corporate sponsorships, private donations, income from corporate social responsibility programs, and the organization of cultural, sports, and other events in Greece and abroad.

Volunteering is a driving force for "Together for Children" contributing decisively to promoting its goals and implementing its actions.
